Sigma Health Rehab in Canandaigua, NY, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our skilled nursing facility team. We offer mentorship, flexible schedules, and weekly pay.

Duties include evaluating residents, developing rehab plans, reducing pain through exercises and hands-on therapy, and supervising therapy assistants while maintaining confidentiality and complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents' conditions and develop appropriate physical rehabilitation plans.
• Relieve residents' pain using exercises, hands-on therapy and stretching.
• Supervise the activities of physical therapy assistants.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and protect facility information.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
• Maintain cooperative relationships within the healthcare team.
