Job summary

Burger Physical Therapy in Davis, CA, is seeking a Physical Therapist for a flexible schedule, with opportunities for full-time or part-time employment. Qualifications

• Supervise support staff in the clinical area.
• Provide direct patient care and treatment planning.
• Review referrals and medical records to determine diagnosis.
• Develop and implement PT care plans with other staff.
• Document prognosis, treatment, and progress.
• Instruct patients and families for home programs.
• Participate in education activities and clinical studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise support staff in the clinical area.
• Provide direct patient care as prescribed including evaluation and treatment planning.
• Review physician's referral and patient's medical records to help determine diagnosis and required physical therapy treatment.
• Collaborate with other personnel in developing and implementing physical therapy careplans.
• Record prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in patient's chart or enter information into computer.
• Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
• Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home.
• Participate in educational activities of the service.
• Participate in clinical studies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
