The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive physical therapy services, including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, documentation, and discharge planning in various settings. The role involves participating in program planning and protocol development to help meet team goals.

Conduct evaluation services, review patient history, perform assessments, and document results. Explain findings and treatment plans to patients and families, involving them in goal setting.
Implement treatment protocols proficiently based on evaluation findings and patient presentation. Consult with healthcare professionals as needed, and recognize changes requiring plan modifications or medical consultation.
Complete discharge planning and follow-up care. Accurately document and charge for care activities, including initial evaluation, progress notes, and discharge evaluation.
Manage time effectively to meet productivity expectations. Maintain an accurate schedule and demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and empathy to ensure patient access to care.
Engage in continuing education for professional growth. Serve as a clinical instructor and assist with orientation and mentoring of staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure in Maryland, District of Columbia, and/or Virginia as required for the specific location.
American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Providers, including CPR.
This position offers a hiring range of $72,758 - $130,041.
