Job summary

Lifepoint Health is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) for outpatient services at Phelps Health Medical Center Waynesville in Missouri. This full-time, days shift role runs 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a focus on delivering high-quality outpatient care.

The outpatient team supports pediatric to adult patients, offering physical, occupational and speech therapy services.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unrestricted Physical Therapy license in the state where services are rendered.
• Current CPR certification.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Accepting new grads

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient’s condition and develop a treatment plan to help them improve day by day.
• Instruct nursing staff and patient families on follow-through programs that build on progress.
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and team; assist with scheduling and post charges.
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements.
• Instruct patient’s family or nursing staff in follow-through programs.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition.
• Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Phelps Health Outpatient Therapy Services located in Waynesville Mo, is a full-service outpatient center for pediatric patients, adolescents and adults, including physical, occupational and speech therapy. We serve Waynesville and the surrounding communities in south-central Missouri. What we're looking for:

We are looking for a dynamic Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping others and is a team player!

What will you do in this role:

• Put your physical therapy skills to work where they're really needed - evaluate a patient's condition, develop a treatment plan, and help them get better day by day. You'll also instruct the nursing staff and the patient's families on follow-through programs that build on the progress they've made
• Communicate patient progress or problems to supervisor and other team members; assist with patient scheduling and post charges daily to patient records
• Document patient care in accordance with regulatory, licensing, payer and accrediting requirements
• Instruct patient's family or nursing staff in follow-through programs
• Maintain equipment and work area in a safe and clean condition
• Handle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws
• Other duties as assigned
