Job summary

Centra Healthcare Solutions Inc. is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist (PT) for a contract assignment in a school setting.

The role involves delivering PT services to students and integrating the organization’s vision, values, and goals into daily performance. Requirements include a doctoral or master’s degree in physical therapy, NYS licensure or eligibility (temporary permit), and the ability to safely assist with lifts and transfers, CPR/First Aid, and related techniques.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited school.
• Licensed with NYS Department of Education, or eligible for licensure (temporary permit).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn in the knees, pivot and grasp with both hands; CPR/First Aid and lifting techniques.
• Valid NYS driver’s license accepted by our insurance carrier

A great School is looking for an experienced or newly graduated Physical Therapist / PT to join their growing team for a contract assignment!This is a contract position.8:30am-3:30pm schedule.This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission and critical goals of the organization into their job performance.

Requirements include:Doctoral Degree or master’s degree in physical therapy from an accredited school.Licensed with NYS Department of Education, or eligible for licensure (temporary permit).Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push and pull students in wheelchairs, lift, bend, squat, turn in the knees, pivot and grasp with both hands (in order to properly and safely perform the techniques taught in CPR/First Aid, behavior intervention techniques, and lifting and carrying techniques), with or without a reasonable accommodation.Valid NYS driver's license deemed acceptable by our insurance carrier
