About the Team

Canyon Vista Medical Center is located in the high desert of southeastern Arizona, serving residents in Sierra Vista, Ft. Huachuca, Cochise County (population >131,000) and surrounding communities. We are nestled in the San Pedro River Valley, 75 miles southeast of Tucson.

The hospital was founded in 1963 as Western Baptist Osteopathic Hospital and expanded to a new 177,000 square foot facility at 5700 E Hwy 90 completed in 2015.

How you\'ll contribute

The Physical Therapist (PT) evaluates, plans, and delivers evidence-based physical therapy interventions to patients across acute hospital, acute rehabilitation, inpatient, medical-surgical, and outpatient care settings. Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing interventions to improve mobility, strength, pain management, and functional independence. The PT collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team, participates in discharge planning, and educates patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety strategies. This role ensures accurate, timely documentation and maintains compliance with regulatory and facility standards while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
