Job summary

Umpqua Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join an in-house therapy team in Roseburg, OR. You will evaluate residents, design personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic exercises and education to improve function and safety.

We value collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, and you will document progress and complete billing promptly. Flexibility for PRN shifts is available and compensation ranges from $55 to $62 per hour

Qualifications

• Licensed in Oregon or graduate of an approved Physical Therapist program or actively working toward licensure.
• Graduate of a CAPTE Accredited Physical Therapy Education Program.
• Experience in post-acute care or similar healthcare environment preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to collaboration and patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, functional training, and pain management.
• Educate residents and families on safe use of equipment and exercise techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to promote progress and independence.
• Accurately complete documentation and billing in a timely manner.
