Job Opportunity: Physical Therapist (PT) at BAYADA Home Health Care

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) for a part-time or per diem position. The role involves performing home health visits for adults and seniors in Senior Living Communities across Cumberland and Franklin Counties.

Applicants must have at least one year of clinical experience as a licensed Physical Therapist. As a home care PT, you will be a vital part of a multidisciplinary team providing rehabilitative care and skilled nursing, enabling clients to receive necessary medical care while remaining at home.

Responsibilities:

1. Make home visits to clients within designated geographic areas.
2. Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including mobility, joint range, transfer status, ambulation patterns, muscle strength, endurance, balance, and safety assessments.
3. Implement wound care interventions using evidence-based dressings and topical agents.
4. Develop and execute individualized care plans, including manual therapy, gait training, and balance exercises.
5. Assess and update care plans regularly, collaborating with nursing staff as needed.
6. Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative activities and safety measures.
7. Document observations and interventions accurately using electronic tablets.

Qualifications:

1. Current Pennsylvania PT license.
2. Minimum of one year recent experience as a PT.
3. Graduation from an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation.
4. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
5. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
6. Solid computer skills; experience with EMR preferred.
