As a Physical Therapist, your responsibilities include:

• Promoting Elara Caring’s mission and policies to ensure quality care
• Providing direct patient care, evaluating needs, and adjusting plans for optimal outcomes
• Designing and implementing care plans with patient and family participation
• Conducting therapy within standards of care
• Leading support staff to achieve patient goals
• Documenting evaluations, treatment plans, and updates
• Providing community leadership and promoting physical therapy
• Working in a physically demanding, high-stress environment
• Handling, lifting, and transferring patients
• Working irregular hours, including call hours if applicable

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited physical therapy program
• Current, unrestricted PT license for the state of work
• At least one year of healthcare facility experience
• Willingness to travel within the coverage area
• Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently, lifting 50-100 lbs

You will report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, or designee.
