Coverage 1: Kirksville, Macon

Coverage 2: Mexico, Vandalia

Responsibilities

• Promote Elara Caring’s philosophy and policies to ensure quality care.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate needs, and adjust care plans for optimal outcomes.
• Design and implement care plans based on thorough assessments.
• Conduct therapy within standards of care.
• Assist support staff to achieve patient goals.
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, and plans accurately.
• Provide leadership and act as a resource in the community.
• Work in a physically demanding, high-stress environment.
• Handle, lift, and transfer patients, including lifting 50-100 lbs.
• Potentially work irregular hours, including call hours.

Requirements

• Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
• Valid, unrestricted PT license for the state of work.
• Minimum one year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Willing to travel within the coverage area.
• Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, auto insurance.
• Willing to travel 50% of the time.
• Able to sit, stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently; able to lift 50-100 lbs.

You will report to the Branch Director, Clinical Manager, or designee.
