Job summary

Burger Rehabilitation Systems, Inc. seeks a State Board Licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Natomas team in Sacramento. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

The Physical Therapist will assess and guide rehabilitative programs, while the Physical Therapist Assistant supports in implementing treatments, documenting progress, and adjusting care under a PT supervision. California licensure is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold California state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Substantial outpatient clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and correct disabling conditions.
• Assist in development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, document progress, and modify treatments within the plan established by a PT.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• The Physical Therapist assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
• The Physical Therapist Assistant supports physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting in the development of treatment plans, carrying out routine functions, documenting the progress of treatment, and modifying specific treatments in accordance with the patient status and within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university or the foreign equivalent
• Californiastate licensed Physical Therapist

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university. Must be a state licensed therapist. Substantial outpatient clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Supervisory experience preferred. Ability to set goals, priorities, and meet deadlines in a self-directed environment.
