Job summary

Laurel Lakes Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Chambersburg, PA is seeking a highly-skilled Physical Therapist to deliver resident-centered therapy within a large rehab and nursing facility. You will provide individual therapy services according to care plans, assist with resident assessments, and collaborate with the MDS and care team to adjust plans as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• NEW GRADS ENCOURAGED TO APPLY.
• Must have a valid professional license by discipline for state.
• Prefer at least one-year experience in LTC.
• Exceptional patient service skills and ability to demonstrate clinical excellence.
• Passionate about post-acute rehabilitation and the older adult population.
• Ability to relate and interact positively, effectively and appropriately with residents, family, professional and facility staff.
• Must successfully complete a post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical / drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Interviewing residents and family members as necessary.
• Coordinating therapy appointments with other departments.
• Following therapy department safety standards.
• Maintaining the care and use of supplies, equipment and appearance of the therapy area.
