Job summary

TheStaff Pad is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist in Breckenridge, TX to develop and implement treatment plans across inpatient, swing bed, outpatient, cardio and SNF settings. The role reports to the Physical Therapy Director and offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with a $10,000 sign-on/relocation bonus.

Responsibilities

• Administer and direct physical therapy treatments under physician direction.

• Educate patients and monitor progress during treatments.
• Apply physical agents and mobility procedures and explain processes.
• Document treatments and communicate updates to physicians.
• Provide age-appropriate care across neonate to geriatric patients.

TheStaff Pad is proud to partner with a leading healthcare organization in Breckenridge,TX and we are looking to hire a skilled and experienced Physical Therapist fortheir Physical Therapy Department,

Reportingto the. Physical Therapy Director, The Physical Therapist will develop and implementtreatment plans, perform routine therapy functions, document patient progress,and adjusts treatments based on patient status within the scope of practice.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Administerand direct the administration of physical agents, rehabilitation, andtherapeutic treatments under physician direction
  
• Reviewpatient diagnoses, evaluate conditions, develop treatment plans, performdischarge planning, and complete re-evaluations
  
• Educateand prepare patients for treatments & monitor patients throughouttreatments
  
• Applyappropriate physical agents, therapeutic, ambulatory and mobility procedureswhile explaining treatment processes to patients
  
• Documenttreatments and provide updates to physicians
  
• Provideage-appropriate care for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patientsbased on knowledge of growth and development principles
  
• Assessand interpret patient status data to identify age-specific needs and providecare according to departmental policies
  

What WeAre Looking For

Education,Experience, Licensure and Certifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy programmeeting licensure requirements (DPT)
  
• Current Texas Physical Therapist license required
  
• 3+ years of licensed Physical Therapistexperience preferred
  
• Relevantexperience preferred; candidates with varying experience levels are welcome
  
• Current CPR certification required
