Job summary

We are seeking a remote Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide services to PreK-12 students through E-Therapy's secure platform. Virtual or on-site options are available, with licensure in Virginia or eligibility for licensure in another state.

The role focuses on mobility, strength, and functional independence, with flexible caseload building and a starting compensation of $50/hour. Remote work enables collaboration with schools nationwide.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience in pediatric or school-based physical therapy.
• Experience with teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobility, strength, balance, and coordination evaluations.
• Develop individualized PT plans and goals for students.
• Apply evidence-based PT interventions to improve motor skills.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to align goals with IEPs.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans for optimal outcomes.
• Document sessions and progress reports accurately.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide PT input.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students' mobility, strength, balance, and coordination.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and goals tailored to students' specific needs and abilities.
• Implement evidence-based physical therapy interventions to improve students' motor skills, range of motion, and functional independence.
• Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions as well as group therapy sessions as appropriate.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to integrate therapy goals into students' educational plans.
• Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' physical therapy needs.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Experience providing physical therapy services in a pediatric or school setting.
• Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Experience in teletherapy or online counseling (preferred).
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology used in physical therapy (preferred).
