Job summary

Lexington Health Care Center in Lexington, North Carolina seeks a caring Physical Therapist licensed in North Carolina or a graduate actively pursuing licensure. Join our experienced rehabilitation team delivering PT, OT, and speech therapy in a state-of-the-art rehab gym to help residents regain independence and return home.

The PT evaluates residents, develops treatment plans, and coordinates with physicians.

Qualifications

• North Carolina Physical Therapy License or eligible.
• Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops treatment plans.
• Obtains physician approval for services.
• Treats residents according to the physician's plan and discharges planning.
• Records evaluation, treatment and charges.
• Supervises PTAs and Aides.
• Screens residents for potential PT benefit.

The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to the physician's treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.

Requirements:
