Job summary

Carolina Rehab Center of Burke in Connelly Springs, NC is seeking a caring Physical Therapist who is currently licensed in North Carolina or actively working toward licensure. You will join an experienced rehab team providing services in a state-of-the-art rehab gym, helping residents regain independence and return home to family and friends.

The PT evaluates residents, develops treatment plans, obtains physician approval, and participates in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• North Carolina Physical Therapy License (or actively pursuing licensure)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluates residents and develops effective treatment plans.
• Obtains approval for service from referring physician.
• Treats residents according to physician's plan and participates in discharge planning.
• Records evaluation, treatment, and charges; supervises PT Assistants and Aides.
• Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.
