Salem Health & Rehabilitation Center in Salem, Virginia is seeking a caring Physical Therapist who is licensed in Virginia or is a graduate from an approved Physical Therapist program and is actively working toward obtaining licensure. Be a part of our experienced team of rehabilitation professionals in a state-of-the-art rehab gym.

The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia or graduate from an approved PT program and actively pursuing licensure.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop effective treatment plans.
• Obtain approval for service from the referring physician.
• Treat residents according to the physician's plan and participate in discharge planning.
• Record evaluation, treatment, and charges.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides.
• Screen residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.
