Job summary

Raleigh Court Health & Rehabilitation Center in Roanoke, VA seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist licensed in Virginia or eligible for licensure to join our in-house rehab team. You will evaluate residents, develop effective treatment plans, and obtain physician approval for services.

As part of our rehabilitation team, you will supervise PTAs and Aides, participate in discharge planning, and ensure thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and charges.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Virginia or eligible for licensure.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to supervise PTAs and Aides.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop treatment plans.
• Obtain physician approval for services and discharge planning.
• Record evaluations, treatments, and charges; maintain documentation.
• Supervise PTAs and Aides and screen residents for PT needs.

The Physical Therapist evaluates residents, develops effective treatment plans, and obtains approval for service from the referring physician. Treats residents according to the physician’s treatment plan. Participates in discharge planning. Records evaluation, treatment, and charges. Supervises Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides. Screens residents for potential benefit from PT intervention.

Requirements

• Virginia Physical Therapy License
