Job summary

Village Place Health and Rehab in Port Charlotte, Florida, is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team in a fully renovated 104-bed skilled nursing facility. This dynamic clinician will provide quality physical therapy, work closely with an experienced Director of Rehabilitation, and contribute to a stable, in-house rehabilitation program.

The role requires a BS in Physical Therapy, an active Florida PT license, and strong communication, organization, and tech skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A Florida PT License is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must be computer/tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts screenings of residents as scheduled to determine the need for evaluation and/or intervention.
• Evaluate residents per physician orders to obtain comprehensive data to be utilized in developing the plan of care.
• Provide Physical Therapy treatment to residents when indicated per the plan of care.
• Supervision of PTA
• Actively engage and contribute to the success of the rehab department, IDT and facility success.

Village Place Health and Rehab is looking for dynamic and experienced Physical Therapists to join our team in our fully renovated, 104 bed skilled nursing facility!

We are seeking a Full Time PHYSICAL THERAPIST to join our team who is a dynamic clinician and team player.

Our facility offers a supportive family environment with a compassionate rehab team which is led by an experienced Director of Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation techs are utilized to assist therapists with resident transport and administrative functions. The rehab department utilizes Net Health-Therapy and Point Click Care for billing and documentation to assist therapists with daily efficiency where quality care remains the primary focus of each therapist. The facility offers 6-day a week, in-house comprehensive rehabilitation program where the PT is an integral member of the interdisciplinary team. Our rehab positions are stable and secure at one location. Each rehab department offers a spacious gym.
