Centra Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our brand-new 50-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located.
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred.
• Current BLS/CPR Card.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for care of patients treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and therapy techs.
• Assesses patients' needs and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions.
• Observes and evaluates treatment progress and communicates with physicians as needed.
• Performs patient assessments and timely re-evaluations with documentation.
• Manages pain interventions and collaborates with the physician when changes are indicated.

Centra Rehabilitation Hospital is a brand-new 50 bed inpatient rehabilitation facility that recently opened.We offer high-quality, compassionate care for a wide variety of patients in need. Our teams provide evidence-based, transformational care for a broad range of injuries and illnesses in a compassionate, comfortable environment.

How you'll contribute

A Physical Therapistwho excels in this role:

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and Therapy techs. May be assigned to orient staff and students and assume the duties and responsibilities of the supervisor in the absence of that individual.
• Assesses patients' needs; identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions; works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Observes and evaluates treatment affect, accomplishment of short and long term goals. Recommends change to physician, if needed.
• Performs an appropriate assessment on each patient and performs reassessments, as per policy. Performs accurate and timely QI scoring. The population is adult and geriatric patients requiring an adult medical rehabilitation program and services.
• Able to assess patient pain interfering with optimal level of function of participation in rehabilitation; makes appropriate interventions to reduce pain; makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state where the hospital is located. Additional requirements include:

• Inpatient rehab experience, preferred
• Current BLS/CPR Card

Hourly range: $35.00-52.01 per hour
