Job summary

Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to plan and administer prescribed PT programs for residents in our long-term care setting. You will aim to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability after illness or injury while guiding a PT/ PTA team and students.

Experience in skilled nursing is preferred; you will supervise assistants and contribute to ongoing clinical excellence within a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy license in Georgia
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes preferred
• Ability to supervise PT aides and supervise students

Responsibilities

• Plan and administer prescribed physical therapy programs to residents
• Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides
• Instruct PT and PTA students and participate in clinical teaching
• Contribute to restoring function and preventing disability for residents

Summary:

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing, you will play a vital role in planning and administering a prescribed physical therapy treatment program. Your goal will be to help patients/residents restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury. In addition to providing expert care, you will also have the opportunity to supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, as well as instruct students participating in PT and PTA programs. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes is preferred.
