Job summary

Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to plan and administer a prescribed physical therapy program for residents in a skilled nursing setting.

In addition to delivering expert care, you will supervise PTAs and aides and may instruct students in PT/ PTA programs. Prior experience in long-term care is preferred, and you will join a team committed to resident well-being and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes is preferred.

Responsibilities

Summary:

As a Physical Therapist (PT) at Jonesboro Center for Nursing and Healing, you will play a vital role in planning and administering a prescribed physical therapy treatment program. Your goal will be to help patients/residents restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following illness, disease, or injury. In addition to providing expert care, you will also have the opportunity to supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, as well as instruct students participating in PT and PTA programs. Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing homes is preferred.
