Job Responsibilities

• Perform individualized physical therapy assessments, treatments, planning, education, and communication to maximize patient progress.
• Maintain positive relationships with other health professionals and staff.
• Design and implement care plans based on thorough assessments.
• Coordinate with support staff to achieve patient goals.
• Ensure documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and progress updates.
• Adhere to safety, infection control, and community policies.
• Engage in professional development activities and stay updated with current literature.
• Provide leadership and act as a resource within the community.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the physical and developmental needs of the senior population.
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies.
• Graduate of an APTA-approved physical therapy program.
