Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center in Montclair, NJ seeks a variable-shift, full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop patient-specific treatment plans.

Requirements include completion of an APTA-approved Physical Therapy Program, NJ PT license, BLS within 14 days, pelvic floor therapy proficiency, strong communication, and a patient-centered approach. Rate of pay is based on experience.

Qualifications

• New Jersey Physical Therapy License is required.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Proficiency in pelvic floor therapy for male and female patients.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapist is responsible for collaborating with physicians, nurses, other therapists, social workers, and other members of the patient care team to develop a patient specific care and treatment plan.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Successful completion of a Physical Therapy Program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council on Medical Education.
• New Jersey Physical Therapy License.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Demonstrates proficiency in treating pelvic floor issues in both male and female patients.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer/patient-centric attitude and behavior

Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
