Qualifications

• Doctorate Degree required.
• Licenses: Physical Therapist License in state of Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Establish a plan of care appropriate to problems identified.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants and students.

How You’ll Contribute

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Establish a plan of care which is appropriate to problems identified and involves the patient according to his or her capabilities and desires.
• Plan, prepare, and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain and prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
• Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard physical therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the age and condition of the patient.
• Direct and supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support personnel. Assess competence, delegate specific tasks, and establish channels of communication.
