Job summary

Kindred Hospital - Chattanooga is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to evaluate and treat patients, develop treatment plans, and guide home exercise programs. This on-site role requires a current Tennessee PT license and CPR certification, with a preferred background in rehabilitation settings.

Graduate of an accredited PT program, with strong documentation skills and collaboration with rehab teams for discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Previous rehab experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Current Tennessee PT licensure.

Kindred Hospital - Chattanooga is a 49-bed long term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recover period.

How you'll contribute

Physical Therapist (PT) who excels in this role:

• The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore functional independence.

• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.

• Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.

• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.

• Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately.

• Collaborate with rehab teams and participate in discharge planning.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a current bachelor's in physical therapy program. In addition to:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.

• Experience:Previous experience in rehab setting preferred.

• License: Current PT licensure in Tennessee.

• Certifications: CPR certification required.
