Kindred Hospital - Chattanooga is a 49-bed long term acute care hospital offering the same in-depth care you would receive in a traditional hospital, but for an extended recover period. The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical injuries or disabilities to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore functional independence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Current PT licensure in Tennessee.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous experience in rehab setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients to improve movement, reduce pain, and restore independence.
• Conduct physical therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide direct patient care to restore strength, mobility, and function.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs.
• Document treatment sessions and patient outcomes accurately.

What We're Looking For

Applicants should have a current bachelors in physical therapy program. In addition to:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program.
• Experience: Previous experience in rehab setting preferred.
• License: Current PT licensure in Tennessee.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
