Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a day shift, full-time Acute Care Physical Therapist to join our team. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 and relocation assistance. Responsibilities include examinations, diagnoses, planning care, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Requirements include a PT degree from an accredited program, Texas licensure, and timely BLS certification. Prior acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire and prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document examinations and evaluations.
• Establish functional PT diagnosis, prognoses and plans of care.
• Formulate treatment goals.
• Provide physical therapy intervention to patients.
• Measure and report outcomes; discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document examinations and evaluations

Qualifications

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Texas state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

• Previous acute care or clinic experience.
