Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Physical Therapist PRN to support acute care rehabilitation. You will evaluate patients, design personalized plans, deliver interventions to restore movement and reduce pain, and monitor outcomes with the care team.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Texas required.
• BS degree from accredited PT program; DPT preferred.
• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• Able to work a minimum of 2 shifts per 4-week rotation.

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitoring progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring timely documentation of outcomes.

Your role will include:

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team

What qualifications you will need:

• BLS required
• (LPT) Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas is required
• BS degree from an accredited PT program is required, DPT preferred
• A min of 1-2 years experience in an acute care facility is required
• Must be able to work a min of 2 shifts per 4 week rotation
