Job summary

A critical illness recovery hospital in Canton, OH is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide compassionate treatment to critically ill patients. Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
• Certified BLS or completion of BLS within first 90 days of employment required.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Set goals and develop treatment plans.
• Work cooperatively to identify and solve patient-specific needs.
• Participate in discharge planning.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Conduct individual patient therapy regimens.
• Monitor patient's response to treatment.
• Complete documentation per department policies.
