Oklahoma State University Medical Center is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join their team. The role involves evaluating and treating patients to help them achieve maximum independence and performance. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, an OK Physical Therapy License, and BLS Certification. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment within a leading healthcare facility.
Under the guidance of the Manager of Rehab Medicine, and level II and III Physical Therapists, the level I Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating and treating patients following disability, injury, disease, or amputation, aiming to help them attain maximum independence and performance. The therapist plans treatment programs, administers modalities, and performs related procedures under the prescription of the patient's physician. Treatment is provided in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with professional standards and ethical practices. The therapist documents and communicates necessary information to all relevant parties and cares for patients across all patient care areas of OSU Medical Center as needed. The therapist may supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and must adhere to standards of performance established by governing bodies. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
