Job summary

MountainView Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility and independence. You will assess needs, design personalized plans, and collaborate with physicians and the care team in a high-quality rehab program in Nevada.

Candidates must have a Bachelor or Master of Science in Physical Therapy, active NV licensure, current BLS, and 1–2 years hospital experience or entry-level consideration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Active NV state licensure from the Board of Physical Therapy required.
• One to two years’ hospital clinical experience preferred; entry level considered.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
• Monitoring progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes.
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices promoting independence.
• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care and smooth transitions during recovery.
• Leading by example by mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding HCA Healthcare’s values.

Job Summary and Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
