Job summary

Pennswood Village in Newtown, PA, a Senior Living community, is seeking a compassionate and skilled PRN Physical Therapist to join our in-house therapy team.

Join a dedicated group serving residents with emphasis on restoring mobility and independence. Requires PT degree, state licensure, CPR, and 2–3 years of experience preferred, with opportunities to impact quality of life daily.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification.
• 2–3 years of related experience preferred (or equivalent combination of education/experience).

Responsibilities

• Restore patient mobility, function, and independence through individualized treatment plans.
• Assess and evaluate residents' conditions, interpreting test results and progress to adjust therapy plans.
• Develop and implement personalized Plans of Treatment, including short- and long-term goals.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and use of appropriate equipment.
• Evaluate the fit and use of prosthetic and orthotic devices and recommend modifications.
• Communicate progress and care plans with residents, families, caregivers, and healthcare team members.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of therapy services.
