Job summary

Cooper River Post Acute in Mount Pleasant, SC, is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehab team in a busy skilled nursing setting. You will evaluate and treat patients, communicate with families and physicians, and document services in medical records.

The ideal candidate holds a degree from an accredited college/university and a South Carolina license to practice physical therapy. CPR certification is preferred and opportunities for advancement and education are available.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited college/university.
• South Carolina Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-admissions healthcare setting.
• CPR Certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
• Conducts in-services and training for facility staff on an ongoing basis.
