HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Physical Therapist PRN. You will assess patients, develop personalized goals, and deliver interventions to improve mobility and function. Collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure excellent outcomes and smooth transitions in care.

You will mentor therapy staff, uphold our values of excellence, compassion, and integrity, and contribute to ongoing professional development in a leading healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) must be active.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient abilities and develop personalized treatment plans with physicians.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to restore movement and reduce pain.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes accurately and timely.
• Educate patients and families on exercise programs and safe practices.
• Collaborate across disciplines for cohesive patient-centered care.
• Mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding values.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Physical Therapist, you play a vital role in helping patients regain strength, restore mobility, and rebuild confidence following illness, injury, or surgery. Working closely with physicians and the care team, you’ll assess each patient’s needs and create personalized therapy plans designed around meaningful goals, active engagement, and exceptional patient outcomes. Your role will include:

We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU.
