HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Palm Beach County is seeking a Physical Therapist specializing in Pelvic care to evaluate patient function, design personalized recovery plans, and deliver evidence-based treatments to restore mobility.

Work closely with physicians and nurses, document progress, and educate patients and families on safe, adaptive, and restorative techniques to improve daily living and independence.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree from an accredited PT program and active Florida state licensure.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to assist patients and lift equipment, often up to 50 pounds.

Job Summary and Qualifications

A Physical Therapist-Pelvic position involves evaluating patient functions, creating personalized recovery plans, and delivering evidence-based treatments to restore mobility.

Core Responsibilities

• Evaluation & Treatment: Assess patient functionality, develop individualized treatment plans, and perform therapies to enhance mobility and reduce pain

• Documentation & Coordination: Document progress and adjust care plans while collaborating with physicians and nurses

• Patient Education: Instruct patients and families on safe, adaptive, and restorative techniques

Qualifications and Requirements

• License & Education: Requires a degree from an accredited program and active FL state licensure.

• Certifications: BLS certification, required within 30 days of hire.

• Physical Capabilities: Must be able to assist patients and lift equipment, often up to 50 pounds.
