Job summary

HCA Healthcare's Medical City Lewisville is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, mobility, and confidence after illness, injury, or surgery. You will assess patient needs and create personalized therapy plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team.

With access to advanced rehabilitation technology and ongoing professional development, you will contribute to measurable outcomes, educate patients and families, and mentor therapy assistants or students

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) required
• Degree in Physical Therapy (MS/BS/DPT) required

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patient abilities and developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the care team
• Delivering evidence-based interventions that restore movement and reduce pain
• Monitoring progress, refining therapy plans, and ensuring accurate, timely documentation of outcomes
• Educating patients and families on exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and safe practices that promote independence
• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure cohesive, patient-centered care
• Leading by example - mentoring therapy assistants or students while upholding values of excellence, compassion, and integrity
