Job summary

Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our SNF team and provide high-quality rehabilitative care to residents. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to enhance functional mobility, promote recovery, and improve quality of life.

Candidates must hold a North Carolina license and a DPT or Master’s in Physical Therapy. Strong communication, collaboration, and patient-centered care are essential for success in this fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Active state license as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or Master's).
• Experience in a SNF or geriatric care preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop personalized treatment plans for residents to address impairments, mobility issues, and functional deficits.
• Administer appropriate physical therapy treatments to help residents regain strength and mobility.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy plans, safety precautions, and continued care.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, OTs, and SLPs to ensure holistic patient care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility rehabilitation regulations.

Job description

Tarboro Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to our residents. As a Physical Therapist, you will work in a collaborative environment with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive physical therapy services to patients within a skilled nursing facility (SNF) setting. Your primary goal will be to enhance each patient's functional mobility, promote recovery, and improve their quality of life.

Compensation ranges from $43-$62 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Develop personalized treatment plans for residents to address physical impairments, mobility issues, and functional deficits.
• Administer appropriate physical therapy treatments to help residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal results.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapy plans, safety precautions, and continued care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations related to rehabilitation therapy.

Qualifications:

• Current, active state license as a Physical Therapist in North Carolina.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT or Master's degree in Physical Therapy).
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
