Job summary

Autumn Hills Healthcare Center in California is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to join our caring team. The PT will evaluate and treat residents, develop plans of care, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Requirements include a degree in Physical Therapy and a California license; one year of clinical experience preferred, new graduates welcome. We offer a competitive salary with a sign-on bonus and PTO/referral bonuses in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physical Therapy (BSc, MSc or DPT) required or preferred.
• California license to practice Physical Therapy.
• 1 year clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans and administers PT treatment for neuromuscular and musculoskeletal issues.
• Administers tests and measurements for muscle strength, ROM, and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct patient treatment per established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments to ensure safe discharge.
• Completes required forms and documents per company policy and regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Duties and Responsibilities within scope of practice and federal guidelines:

• Evaluates, plans and administers treatment to patients with problems related to neuromuscular and musculoskeletal systems.
• Administers and interprets tests and measurements for muscle strength, coordination, range of motion, and respiratory and circulatory efficiency.
• Provides direct resident treatment in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient records.
• Conducts home assessments simulated or actual, as appropriate, to ensure discharge of residents to a safe environment.
• Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.

Physical Therapist (PT) Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.
• One (1) year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates welcomed!
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy issued by the state of California.
