MUSC Health seeks a compassionate Physical Therapist (PRN) to join our hospital-based rehabilitation team. The PT provides high-quality patient care through comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based treatment interventions in line with standards of practice.

This role requires flexibility to work across clinical settings within the Physical Therapy department while delivering individualized, patient-centered care. E-Verify participation is required for new hires.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or certificate from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Physical Therapy license or registration in the State of South Carolina.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Prior hospital or clinical experience preferred.

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans at the first scheduled appointment.
• Provide therapeutic interventions consistent with best practices and department standards.
• Deliver care across multiple hospital settings as needed.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, daily progress notes, discharge summaries, exercise programs, and patient/family education within 24 hours of each visit.
• Educate patients and families on treatment goals, home exercise programs, and safe mobility techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
