Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, Georgia is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality PT services across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient groups. You will perform evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability, while supporting the care team and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.

The role requires a Georgia PT license or compact privileges, BCLS certification, and a track record of patient-centered care; 2

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT.
• Maintain current CEUs as required by the State.
• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or compact privileges.
• BCLS (Basic Life Support) through AHA required.
• 2 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence.
• May supervise and orient assigned staff; conducts evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function and prevent disability.

Responsibilities:

Provides physical therapy services for a designated group of patients, assisting them to reach highest level of physical independence. Conducts physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. Provides patient care to all age groups to include pediatric, adult and geriatric. Responsible for the care of patients treated by physical therapist assistants. May be responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program with a BS, MS, or DPT Required
• Must maintain current CEU's as by the State

Work Experience

• 2 years of experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Current Georgia Physical Therapist License or current compact privileges in Georgia Required
