Job summary

ROMTech is seeking a Physical Therapist - Pilot - 1099 to join its clinical team supporting pilot programs and IRB-approved studies. You will provide PT services within approved protocols and collaborate with physicians, hospitals, and health systems to advance at-home rehab concepts.

The role emphasizes developing and refining rehabilitation protocols, data collection for outcome reporting, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant practices while communicating clinical value to leadership.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent required.
• Active PT license in good standing where services will be provided.
• Experience with clinical research, pilot programs, or study-based care models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and refine clinical protocols for ROMTech pilot programs and IRB-approved studies.
• Provide physical therapy services to participants in pilot programs per protocol.
• Collaborate with research, clinical, and operational stakeholders to support study execution and outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and assist with outcome reporting and data quality initiatives.
• Provide clinical expertise on rehabilitation protocols, patient engagement, and recovery pathways.
• Evaluate and recommend innovative rehab approaches for study populations.
• Support protocol compliance with IRB, HIPAA, and practice standards.
• Contribute clinical insights to new service models, product innovation, and research initiatives.
