Job Details

The Staff Level I Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating, treating, and discharge planning for all referred patients. The therapist plays an integral role in helping patients achieve their highest level of function, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans. The role upholds Jefferson Health's mission, vision, and values.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions, and discharge planning across various settings.
  2. Participate in student education and contribute to teaching as a novice clinician.
  3. Design and deliver treatment programs to facilitate patient recovery and rehabilitation.
  4. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques for safe therapeutic interventions and training for patients and families.
  5. Document patient progress, interventions, evaluations, and discharge summaries accurately.
  6. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • 0-2 years of clinical practice; 1 year preferred.
  • Valid state license in Physical Therapy.
  • CPR certification (AHA for Healthcare Providers, BLS).

Rotating shifts in the United States of America. This is a regular, full-time position based at 111 S 11th Street, Philadelphia, PA.
