Job summary

Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, seeks a Physical Therapist for the Massachusetts outpatient practice. You’ll plan and supervise therapeutic programs, ensure documentation and licensure compliance, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high‑quality care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain licensure prior to starting.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement therapeutic programs based on established goals, considering medical recommendations, protocols, and precautions.
  • Supervise the treatments provided by the Physical Therapist Assistants relative to the goals and treatment plans of patients and communicate with them regarding the prognosis of the patient.
  • Complete documentation meeting federal and state guidelines.
  • Maintain licensure in accordance with federal and state guidelines.

Primary Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree
  • Current Massachusetts Physical Therapist license or ability to obtain licensure prior to starting
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, as required by specialty
  • 1+ years of outpatient experience; new graduates and candidates with equivalent clinical training are encouraged to apply

Pay is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications. In addition to your salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401(k) contribution (subject to eligibility). The hourly pay for this role ranges from $35.00 to $63.00 per hour based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
