About The Hospital

Position Description

We are seeking a per diem Physical Therapist (PT) for our inpatient, acute care team. The role offers flexible scheduling, with a minimum of 2 weekend days per month and 1 holiday per year.

The Physical Therapist independently evaluates patients, develops treatment plans, and delivers or delegates services to address physical dysfunction or pain. Responsibilities include assessment of strength, motor control, joint mobility, soft tissue, pain, balance, coordination, posture, cardiopulmonary function, endurance, gait, and daily activity functions.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or DPT in Physical Therapy from an accredited American Physical Therapy Association program.
• Current licensure in Connecticut as a Physical Therapist.
• PT experience is highly preferred.
