Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist to work at the Christiana Hospital, Newark campus inpatient facility. The requirement is to work 2 shifts per month with one shift on a Saturday or Sunday, with potential for additional weekday and weekend coverage when needed.

As a Physical Therapist, you will treat patients requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease, establish treatment programs with clear goals, and complete all documentation including evaluations, progress notes,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an A.P.T.A. approved school of Physical Therapy.
• At least two years of experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Current Delaware license or eligibility for a Delaware License.

As a Physical Therapist with Christiana Care, you will be part of a dynamic team which includes treating patients and providing therapy for individuals requiring rehabilitation after injury or disease process. You will establish appropriate treatment programs that include goals to be attained and complete all documentation relating to patient care, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries. Education and Experience Requirements

• Graduate of an A.P.T.A. approved school of Physical Therapy

Compensation

This is a flat rate position. Any individual hired into this position will be paid $59.00 per hour. In addition, a 10% shift differential will be paid for hours worked on Saturdays and Sundays. This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
