Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a resident-centered Physical Therapist for a per diem role on our beautiful campus in Pompton Plains, NJ. You will work across inpatient and outpatient services, implementing each resident’s care plan with a focus on comfort, companionship and continuity of care.

The role requires a valid state PT license, documentation skills for reimbursement and regulatory needs, and geriatric experience.

Qualifications

• Valid state Physical Therapy license required.
• Ability to complete reimbursement and regulatory documentation.
• Geriatric therapy experience preferred across multiple diagnostic groups.

Responsibilities

• Implement residents’ personal care plans addressing strengths, preferences and routines.
• Provide holistic care focusing on physical, spiritual, emotional and clinical needs.

We are hiring a resident-centered Physical Therapist to join our team. We offer inpatient, outpatient and so many more services at our gorgeous campus. All of our residents live within our award-winning campus, creating an environment where you can be part of their journey throughout their continuum of care. Our Physical Therapists provide a holistic approach, supporting the residents' physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs. They are responsible for implementing residents’ personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and preferred routines, while providing a sense of comfort, companionship, and belonging.

Our communities offer levels of care and include specialty programs such as: urinary incontinence, vestibular rehab, home safety assessment, movement disorders and low vision.

All of our clients live within our community, which means no additional travel!

Compensation: $55/HR

What we require:

• Must possess a valid and current state Physical Therapy license. Degree and training must meet current Medicare and state requirements.
• The ability to complete documentation to meet reimbursement and regulatory requirements.
• Therapeutic experience in older adults across multiple diagnostic groups is preferred.
