Job summary

Trinity Health in Fresno, CA is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to deliver prescribed PT treatments and patient training. The role focuses on reducing pain, restoring movement, and returning patients to daily activities after injury or illness.

The ideal candidate has a CA license, completed State Board exam, and CPR certification, with preference for acute care experience. Per diem and weekend differentials offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program is required.
• Successful completion of the State Board exam is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist with the State of California is required.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
• Ability to operate PT equipment safely and perform basic functional evaluations is required.
• Ability to relate professionally to patients, physicians, and staff with excellent customer service is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply physical therapy treatment and training to decrease pain and restore function.
• Supervise and guide patient rehabilitation exercises and activities.
• Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Summary:

This position is responsible for applying physical therapy treatment and training to patients to decrease and/or alleviate pain, regain movement, and restore function following an injury, disease,or physical disability.

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited program in Physical Therapy is required.
• Successful completion of the State Board exam is required.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist with the State of California is required.
• Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
• Ability to operate PT equipment safely and perform basic functional evaluations is required.
• Ability to relate in a professional manner to patients, physicians, the public and other health care providers while demonstrating excellent customer service is required.

Pay Range: $49.77-$69.68
