The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements goal-oriented Physical Therapy treatments to restore function and prevent disability from trauma, disease, amputation, congenital defects, surgery, or other illnesses.

This position is based at a new Health and Wellness center in Freehold, NJ, opening in August with a team of 3 clinicians, 3 associates, and 1 secretary. It is a per diem role with a flexible schedule, and hours are scheduled 8 weeks in advance. The facility will operate Monday - Thursday 8AM - 7PM and Friday 8AM - 4:30PM.

• We seek a Physical Therapist with outpatient pelvic rehab and orthopedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Participate in committees as requested by supervisor.
• Deliver high-quality customer service to residents, families, and visitors.
• Ensure a safe environment, employ correct body mechanics, and perform treatments as scheduled.
• Develop discharge plans, complete documentation timely, and update treatment goals.
• Assess DME needs, educate residents and families, and ensure proper fitting and use.
• Communicate effectively, develop rapport, and provide resident education.
• Gather evaluation data, handle special projects, and maintain safety standards.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, utilize appropriate devices, and set measurable goals.
• Adhere to organizational standards and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited program or equivalent.
• Physical ability to perform required tasks, including lifting (20+ lbs), standing, walking, and other physical positions.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with computer platforms.

Licenses and Certifications

• Physical Therapist License.
• AHA Basic Health Care Life Support (HCP) Certification.
