Job summary

UW Health in Madison, WI is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) to provide treatment for patients across ages after acute or chronic pain, surgery or dysfunction. The role offers a .8 FTE schedule with day/evening shifts and hours 7am–5pm at East Madison Hospital.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, WI licensure on hire, and BLS within 3 months. Two years of prior experience is preferred; join a team focused on patient recovery and interdisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• 2 years of prior relevant experience preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin upon hire required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months required.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment services to patients across all ages after acute/chronic pain, dysfunction, or surgeries.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate patient care across services; may staff interdisciplinary clinics at alternate locations.
• Serve as a clinical instructor on a rotating basis to help develop future colleagues.
• Assist in long-term planning for a pelvic health physical therapy residency.
